School District 83 Administration Building

After many years of managing administrative staff in a multitude of spaces owned by SD 83, funding was compiled to design a facility that allowed for all departments to work under one roof. Located on an old secondary school site, the new administration office is comprised of financial, facility, IT and teaching staff offices that feature views of Shuswap Lake and mountains. Parking was supplied adjacent to the site, under which is a geo-exchange system. The space offers a welcoming embrace with aesthetic features and showcases the local aboriginal community by incorporating artistic murals throughout.
