O'Rourke Family Estate Winery

O’Rourke Family Estate Winery follows on the success of O’Rourke’s Peak Cellars in Carrs Landing and expands on it with a new flagship that combines a winery, event space, and accommodations all overlooking Okanagan Lake. The property features 110 acres of vines, 300 metres of winding tunnels and 12,000 sf of caves for storing and aging the wine. It also includes an amphitheater, indoor theatre, restaurant and will have several exclusive features. These will include 2 luxury homes located amongst the vineyards – a 5 bedroom log home, The Cottage Inn, and The Vines. For the ultimate extravagance, there will be 8 luxury owner’s suites, 4 within the winery itself and another 4 on an adjacent property. The projects’ vision is that of winery owner, Dennis O’Rourke, an Alberta construction mogul and part-time Lake Country resident since the 1970’s. The goal of the new winery is that of lifestyle and entertainment. The intention is not to produce hundreds of thousands of cases of wine, but perhaps only 10 to 15 thousand that are superior quality and will match the VIP experience and luxurious feel of the new space.
