Planned for 1145 Pacific Avenue in Kelowna, this proposed project is a 32-unit apartment building with 4 floors of residential units and elevated ground floor parking. MQN was engaged to assist the client in a full-service architectural construction package. This innovative rental property mixes an extensive rooftop solar power grid system with largely traditional methods to create a low carbon footprint residential building. Sustainability initiatives include offsetting utility electrical requirements with 50 kV of solar power, and electric car and bike share programs.
