With its well-proportioned solid forms, simplicity of structure, and ability to emphasize the innate qualities of the materials used, the design is true to form and function. An expanse of glass deck wraps around the penthouse suites, grounded with the use of stone and smooth stucco. The facility used a colour palette of terra-cotta and charcoal, and the expansive grounds incorporate greenery along walking paths and a water feature. Both Phase I and Phase II of the project use geothermal heating. Phase II continues to reflect the aesthetic of Phase I by incorporating arts & crafts style architecture, a movement begun primarily as a search for authentic and meaningful l styles in the 19th century.
