Southwind at Sarsons is a contemporary interpretation of South Western and Arts & Crafts style of Architecture.Large, Okanagan timber is used to accent the dramatic structure, while stone and concrete are used to ground the aesthetic. A simple colour palette found in nature further accentuates the rustic materials used in the facility.
Southwind is named after the famed artist Dow Reid who created Kelowna’s sails sculpture. Reid’s personal studio was previously located on the site, Reid’s Southwind sculpture forms the centerpiece for the Private Resident’s Club.
Southwind is a combination of spacious town homes, and one, two and three bedroom condominiums. The Resident’s Club includes an indoor pool, hot tub, fitness room, and lounge. The pool deck opens onto a patio and garden space connected by large glass overhead doors creating indoor/outdoor recreational space.
