The lodge and resort facility was designed in the architectural form of the Native Kekuli for the Band to own and operate. Particular sensitivity was taken to use natural materials, reflecting the culture of the Band, and planning incorporated large open spaces.
The resort includes an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna, meeting rooms, and dining facilities.
The floor of the central common space reproduces indigenous art forms; the circular shape of the room and fireplace further drawing people together, and are reminiscent of the traditional teepee.
MQNi is responsible for new renovations to the original facility. In- depth research into the traditions of the Band are preserved and celebrated in the new design.
