Inspired by the site, this McKinley Landing custom three-level home takes full advantage of expansive hilltop and lake views. The interior mixes modern industrial details and furnishings from the families world travels.
Dekton countertops in shades of grey, brown and deep black create a rusted effect. Oil rubbed bronze hardware brings out the dark tones of countertops and complement white shaker cabinets. Upcycling treasures gathered from world travels into works of functional art -the custom kitchen island places repurposed lighting from World War 2 battleships on centre stage. Okanagan Lake and local mountains provide a stunning backdrop for the large kitchen and expansive dining area windows. Sliding glass doors in the dining area opens to deck and pool.
The stately master suite commands 360-degree views of Okanagan Lake and the transition between master and en-suite is framed by a concrete barn door which was handcrafted by Keith Crewe and transformed an everyday item into functional art.
